In a March 2012 e-survey, Dean & Provost
found that most survey-takers whose institutions grant tenure thought the requirements were clearly communicated. But respondents at institutions that don’t grant tenure were less enthusiastic about their institutions’ communications related to promotion. And many survey-takers didn’t think tenure and promotion guidelines were followed consistently. Click here

starting with the July 2012 issue.
